Swansea and Manchester City condemn racist abuse aimed at Yan Dhanda


On their authority Twitter page, Manchester City said: "Prejudice is not welcome in game, or society. Manchester City FC are dismayed to know about the supposed Swansea City and Manchester City have censured bigoted maltreatment focused on Yan Dhanda. 

Swans midfielder Dhanda, 22, who is of British Asian foundation, was mishandled via online media following Wednesday's FA Cup tie between the clubs. 

The Championship club have revealed the make a difference to South Wales Police, who are exploring. 

Manchester City say they will uphold police to build up whether one of their fans was included. 

Swansea say the previous Liverpool youth has their "resolute help" and that they are "shocked and disheartened" by the maltreatment. 

A club articulation read: "Swansea City denounces bigotry and maltreatment, everything being equal, and we ask online media organizations to exceed any and all expectations to get rid of this loathsome degree of conduct that keeps on discoloring football and society. 

"An authority report has been made with South Wales Police and the club will help them in their examination." 

Dhanda played 77 minutes of the fifth-round tie, which Manchester City won 3-1. 

The Birmingham-conceived previous England Under-17 global is the most recent in a line of footballers who have confronted bigoted maltreatment via online media. 

Dhanda talked recently about bigoted maltreatment he looked as an adolescent.
